If the water level is more than 5 meters below the pump system or the open water is too far away from the pump set, a submersible pump is necessary. This submersible pump can create the required flow and pressure using a flexible hose connected to the submersible pump.
The submersible pump is driven by a hydraulic motor, getting its power from a hydraulic power unit.
This hydraulic power unit contains a diesel engine, hydraulic pump, a hose reel and it offers storage for the submersible pump.
These sets are extremely versatile as the submersible pumps are lightweight units and can be deployed by hand. Apart from firefighting purposes, these sets are also used to drain water in flooded areas.
